The Hillcrest Grade 7/8 Leadership group planned Truth and Reconciliation activities for all classrooms during the week of September 27th - October 1st. They created Every Child Matters buttons for all students and staff, created and presented an Orange Shirt Day virtual slideshow, and created a whiteboard display about Humility, one of the Seven Sacred Teachings. Every month, the leadership group will prepare a presentation about the Seven Sacred Teachings and share Truth and Reconciliation activities for all classrooms to continue to learn and act on their knowledge in order to make a positive difference.
